How to revert back to Firefox 3.6.16

The new version of Firefox (4.0) will not work with eVA at this time. Please continue to use Firefox 3.6x or below. Firefox 4.0 is not compatible with the current version of the eMall (Shop Now) component of eVA. The eMall is scheduled for upgrade in August 2011 and at that time the Firefox 4.0 version will be compatible.

If you have already upgraded to Firefox 4 and need to revert back to 3.6 folow these instructions.

When you remove Firefox 4.0 you will not lose your profile. Like your home page, what toolbars you use, saved passwords and bookmarks are all stored in a separate folder.

How to remove FireFox in Windows 2000 & Windows XP

Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add or Remove Programs.
In the Currently installed programs box, click the FireFox version that you want to remove, and then click Remove.
If you are prompted to confirm the removal of the program, click Yes.

How to remove an FireFox in Windows Vista

Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Programs and Features.
In the Currently installed programs box, click the FireFox version that you want to remove, and then click Remove.
If you are prompted to confirm the removal of the program, click Yes.

How to remove an FireFox in Windows 7

Open Programs and Features by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Programs and Features.
Click the FireFox version , and then click Uninstall.

Note: If you are using a Mac, follow the uninstall & Install procedures for the
Mac operating system.

How to Install FireFox 3.6.16 on your Computer

To install the English (US) FireFox 3.6.16 program on your computer, follow these steps:

1. You will need to download Firefox 3.6.16 from the Mozilla website located at:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html#languages

2. Be sure to select the correct version download link for your operating system and follow the
prompts as you would installing any other software program.

Optional:
After you have installed Firefox 3.6.16 you may want to turn off Automatic Updates.
With this feature turn on, you will be prompted to update FireFox to the latest version.
